Tecnimont, MAIRE's flagship company for Integrated E&C solutions, is looking for a Construction HSE Manager to join Construction Operations. You will oversee HSE management on major international projects and complex contracts such as consortia or joint ventures.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will implement HSE policies, conduct JHA/JSA, coordinate inspections and trainings, and ensure up-to-date documentation and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

  • Minimum 10 years of HSE management experience on EPC/oil & gas/infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading HSE activities on large international construction sites.
  • Knowledge of international HSE standards and applicable regulations.
  • Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and inspections.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate across complex contracts.

Mansioni

  • Support and monitor implementation of HSE policy and management systems at sites.
  • Perform JHA and participate in JSA activities.
  • Verify Site HSE Plan adequacy and ensure updates as required.
  • Lead HSE documentation through all construction phases.

Tecnimont is looking for a Construction HSE Manager to join "Construction Operations" Function.

Key Responsabilities:

The Construction HSE Manager is appointed for major projects and in complex contractual environments such as Consortiums and Joint Ventures. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, he/she is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the Company's Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures and management systems at construction sites.

  • To support and monitor the implementation of the Company HSE Policy and HSE Management System at site level.
  • To perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) activities.
  • To verify the adequacy and effective implementation of the Site HSE Plan and related procedures, promoting revisions whenever required.
  • To ensure the maintenance and continuous update of HSE documentation throughout all construction phases.
  • To monitor subcontractors' compliance with applicable HSE procedures, regulations and standards, promoting corrective actions whenever necessary.
  • To organize, plan and participate in HSE inspections, audits and site walk-downs, ensuring the preparation of reports, action plans and timely follow-up of corrective actions.
  • To coordinate and deliver HSE training, awareness and induction programs for site personnel.
  • To organize and participate in all relevant HSE meetings with project stakeholders, subcontractors and clients.
  • To support the management of work permit systems and interface with Client representatives on HSE-related matters.
  • To investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and defining preventive and corrective measures.
  • To maintain HSE records and statistics, monitoring performance against project and corporate objectives, targets and KPIs.
  • To lead and coordinate the Site HSE Committee and promote a strong safety culture across all site personnel.
  • To lead and coordinate emergency response and fire prevention teams, organizing drills and emergency preparedness activities.
  • To prepare the HSE section of monthly project reports and other periodic reporting required by the Project and Corporate organization.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Safety Engineering, or other relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE management within EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial Construction projects.
  • Proven experience in managing HSE activities on large international construction sites.
  • Solid knowledge of international HSE standards, management systems and applicable regulations.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and inspections.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex project environments, including Consortiums and Joint Ventures.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to promote a proactive safety culture in multicultural environments.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, and willingness to travel internationally and work on construction sites worldwide.

Contract Type and Classification

  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011)
  • Job classification level: Middle Manager, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement

Compensation

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 70.000,00.

  • The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus.
  • Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
