Job summary

Tecnimont, MAIRE’s flagship company for Integrated E&C solutions, seeks a Construction Engineering Manager to join the Construction Engineering Management Function. The role focuses on leading engineering activities and coordinating Construction Engineers during both Home Office and site execution stages.

You will review deliverables, support bid evaluations and the development of construction strategies, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 7 years of experience in Construction Engineering/Management on international EPC projects.
• Experience in multidisciplinary industrial projects within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, constructability, and subcontracting processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Construction Engineering activities for assigned projects.
• Supervise Construction Engineers during home office and site execution.
• Review engineering deliverables and work requisitions for construction needs.
• Prepare and coordinate construction management docs for subcontracts.
• Support development of construction strategies and temporary facilities.

Tecnimont is looking for a Construction Engineering Manager to join the Construction Engineering Management Function.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Construction Engineering activities for assigned projects;
• Manage and supervise Construction Engineers during both Home Office and site execution phases;
• Review engineering deliverables and Work Requisitions related to construction activities, ensuring construction requirements are properly addressed;
• Prepare and coordinate construction management documentation and technical requirements to be included in construction subcontracts;
• Support the definition and evaluation of construction strategies, execution methodologies, temporary construction facilities and heavy lifting activities;
• Contribute to the preparation and review of Construction Technical Bid Evaluations and support subcontractor bid analysis and selection activities;
• Ensure the application of Company construction methodologies, constructability principles and lessons learned across all project phases;
• Provide technical support to Site Managers for the preparation of Construction Execution Plans and project execution strategies;
• Support Project Control in the development of construction schedules, planning methodologies and construction manpower estimates;
• Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, HSE, Quality and Project Control teams to ensure project objectives are achieved;
• Ensure effective coordination between Home Office and Site organizations, identifying project requirements and supporting execution needs;
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and maintain awareness of industry best practices, methodologies and emerging construction technologies.

Requirements & Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related Engineering disciplines;
• At least 7 years of experience in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Project Engineering or related roles within international EPC projects;
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary industrial projects, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or Infrastructure sectors;
• Strong understanding of construction planning, constructability, project execution methodologies and construction subcontracting processes;
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and stakeholders in complex project environments;
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills;
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project execution tools;
• Availability for international business trips and temporary assignments abroad according to project requirements.

The following will be considered a plus:

• Site construction experience on international projects;
• Knowledge of construction planning and project control tools;
• Experience in contractor management and subcontract administration activities;

Compensation

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 60.000.

The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus.

Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
