Job summary

Kellanova is seeking a CDL Class B Shipping Yard Driver for our Rome, GA plant. You will partner with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth loading/unloading and safe yard operations, with a focus on reliability and quality.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, a valid Class B license, and a clean driving record. Schedule is Wednesday–Saturday, 5:00pm–5:00am, with competitive starting pay and potential increases during the first 18 months of service.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing yard experience.
• A valid Class B Driver License.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work outside 100% of the time in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trailer Management – reposition trailers for loading and unloading and maintain a physical presence in the yard 100% of the time.
• Safety First – follow safe operating procedures while maintaining clean work areas and equipment; perform daily yard checks of trailers for load outs, inbounds and empties.
• Strong Communication – communicate safety, quality, production, maintenance, and sanitation issues to the appropriate department personnel.
• Training – perform on-the-job training of new shipping yard equipment and assist in other training activities.

Join the Kellanova team as a CDL Class B Shipping Yard Driver at our Rome, GA plant. You will be a key partner with the warehouse and operations personnel ensuring we continue to produce exceptional products.

The schedule for this position is Wednesday-Saturday 5:00pm – 5:00am.

The starting pay rate for this role is $27.17 and there is an opportunity for pay rate increases during the first 18 months of service.
