Job summary

Clariant in Novara, Piedmont, Italy, is seeking a driven Process Technology Engineer to oversee existing chemical plants, lead new plant design, construction and commissioning, and drive cost-saving initiatives. You will ensure safety, quality and efficiency while aligning with HSE&Q principles.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Business, and Production teams, manage projects, and apply statistical methods to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in production, product development and project management.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of production processes and process engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects related to process and product optimization.
• Evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance safety, quality and efficiency.
• Provide expertise in chemical production including plant startup and key procedures.
• Stay current with manufacturing technologies and support plant projects including troubleshooting and quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies; perform risk analysis for safe equipment operation.
• Apply statistical methods and project management to drive continuous improvement.
