thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking a senior Process Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of chemical plants for green hydrogen and related products in Milano. You will prepare basic engineering docs, support procurement, and assist startup and commissioning at client sites.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Chemical Engineering, has 10+ years in process engineering within chemical engineering firms, speaks fluent English, and is willing to travel outside

Competenze

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Chemical Engineering with strong fundamentals in process design.
• Experience in chemical industry project engineering and plant design is preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally for commissioning and meetings.

Mansioni

• Prepare basic engineering documentation and procurement follow-up for process equipment.
• Commissioning and start-up at customer sites.

Aim of the position

You will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Main responsibilities and Contents

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers;
• Commissioning and start-up at customer's plant site;
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer;
• Support to the Project Manager during kick-off meeting for technical aspects.

Skills, qualifications and abilities

• University degree in Chemical Engineering;
• at least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry;
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language;
• Availability to travel out of Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities;
• Good will, proactivity, ability to both individual and teamwork;
• Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

• Annual Gross Salary range 50k-55k euro (paid over 14 monthly installments)
