Job summary

Baker Hughes in Italy is seeking a CAD Applications Specialist to join our CAD team within a leading oil & gas equipment manufacturer specializing in turbomachinery. This role focuses on deploying and maintaining CAD applications that speed up design of complex mechanical components.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical design fundamentals, 2+ years in a similar role, and proficiency in Siemens NX, Creo, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar CAD/Applications role in a complex organization.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Own maintenance and support of CAD tools and related applications.
• Coordinate end-user support, incidents, and change requests with Engineering and Digital Technology.
• Manage tool lifecycles: upgrades, governance, data quality, access, and compliance.
