Job summary

Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, is seeking a Breakfast Manager to lead daily breakfast service in a 5-star luxury setting in Portofino. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, train staff, and uphold high standards of service and sanitation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in breakfast leadership, fluent Italian and English, and strong F&B knowledge. The role runs from March 2027 to November 2027 with seasonal contract benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Breakfast Manager or Breakfast Supervisor in 5-star luxury hotels.
• Fluency in Italian and English; additional language is valued.
• Strong leadership, charisma and refined communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily breakfast service operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
• Regularly review the buffet quality.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Estimate future needs for goods, utensils and cleaning products.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations compliance.
• Manage restaurant image and suggest improvements.
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
