Job summary

Aethos Milan, a boutique hotel in the Navigli district, seeks an accounting-focused team member to record and reconcile daily revenues from rooms, F&B, events and memberships. You’ll assist with supplier payments, guest billing, and cash control while monitoring costs across departments.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in or recently graduated from Economics/Business/ Tourism programs, fluent in English, and able to handle confidential data with discretion in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or related field.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis formulas).
• Fluent English; able to work with international team and guests.
• Meticulous and discreet handling of confidential financial data; deadlines matter.
• Organised mindset with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced boutique environment.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily revenues from hotel outlets (rooms, F&B, events, memberships).
• Support accounts payable and receivable cycles, including invoice processing and guest billing.
• Assist with cash and POS reconciliation, bank statement matching, and petty cash management.
• Monitor departmental costs and flag variances against budget.
• Maintain accounting archives in line with Italian fiscal regulations; liaise with external accountant.
• Collaborate with Front Office and F&B teams to verify operational data.
