Hitachi Energy in Italy seeks a Battery Technical Lead who will identify, evaluate, validate, and integrate battery technologies and suppliers for BESS applications. You will drive the technology strategy and perform technical due diligence across projects.
You will act as the technical authority for battery systems in multidisciplinary R&D, sharing expertise on cell chemistry, performance, safety, and degradation mechanisms, and guiding testing methodologies and supplier capabilities.
Competenze
- Experience evaluating and integrating battery technologies and suppliers.
- Knowledge of safety, reliability, and degradation mechanisms in BESS.
- Ability to conduct technical due diligence and roadmapping.
Mansioni
- Identify and evaluate battery technologies and suppliers for BESS.
- Lead lab validation and testing to validate performance and safety.
- Drive technology roadmap and support product development in multidisciplinary teams.
