AVL Italia S.p.A. in Italy seeks a Senior Systems Engineer - Battery Systems to lead systems engineering activities in battery development and test projects, with focus on requirements traceability and lifecycle delivery.

You will design battery subsystems, collaborate with global teams, support verification and validation, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specs. This role offers opportunities to contribute to sustainable mobility within AVL’s global engineering network.

Competenze

• 4-7 years of experience in Battery Systems, Electrification Systems, Energy Storage Systems, Automotive Systems Engineering or related area of expertise.
• Experience in requirements engineering, system integration, verification and validation.
• English language skills (business fluent).
• Experience with battery-related development projects or HV systems is considered an advantage.

Mansioni

• Design of battery systems and related sub-systems and their integration into multiple testing and development applications.
• Collaboration with cross-functional, global project teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Interaction with customers to understand their system requirements and present technical information and solutions.
• Provision of technical support and troubleshooting assistance for battery and test system issues.
• Define and manage battery system requirements, interfaces, and traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support battery system verification and validation activities, including test planning, execution, results analysis, and reporting.
