BYD Energy Storage is seeking a Mid-Senior level Sales Engineer to drive BESS business with utilities, industrial clients, and renewable developers in Italy. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to deal closure—and build strong relationships with grid operators and regulators to ensure compliant, customer-focused energy storage solutions.

You will collaborate with engineering and R&D teams, stay updated on grid codes, and travel to client sites as needed.

Competenze

Strong communication skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
3–5 years of experience in renewable energy technical support, sales, or project management (BESS/PCS/EM).
Familiarity with grid codes and regulatory frameworks for energy storage.

Mansioni

Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the BESS business with utilities, industrial clients, and renewable energy developers.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to solution design, proposal preparation, and deal closure.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, including utility companies, grid operators, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure BESS installations meet local and international grid compliance standards.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies and transmission operators for seamless BESS integration into the power grid.
Stay informed on changes in grid codes, transmission line requirements, and energy storage regulations.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and R&D teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
