Tecnocad Group is seeking a Safety Operator for Autonomous Vehicles in Northern Italy (Rho). You will monitor, test and validate autonomous vehicle operations in real-world and controlled environments, taking control when necessary and adhering to safety procedures.

You will collect and analyse data, document anomalies, and contribute to technical reporting while collaborating with engineering teams to drive continuous system improvement. The role emphasizes operational safety and efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering-related discipline (ongoing studies considered).
• Strong interest in automated systems, robotics and mobility solutions.
• Good command of IT tools and Excel.
• Willingness to learn new automotive technologies and testing procedures.
• Ability to collect, organise, interpret and report technical data accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive sensors (LiDAR, radar, cameras, GPS) is a plus.
• EU Category B driving licence held for at least two years.
• Good command of English.
• High safety awareness and careful approach to procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor autonomous vehicles during operations, testing and missions.
• Take manual vehicle control when required, following safety procedures and regulations.
• Collect, organise and analyse mission, test and vehicle data.
• Prepare periodic reports on activities, tests and issues.
• Document road/environment conditions and report anomalies to the technical team.
• Perform basic vehicle checks, cleaning, start-up/shutdown and charging procedures.
• Support integration and testing of automotive components and coordinate with partners to improve system performance.
