Sidel is seeking a Masters-educated Automation/Electrical engineer to advance testing procedures for Filler equipment. You will define standard work, develop testing schedules and collaborate across Innovation, Engineering, and Production to drive reliable testing and production efficiency.

You will lead automation projects using Siemens or B&R PLCs, EPLAN design, and Digital Twin integration, while applying Lean Six Sigma to optimize processes and reduce cycle times.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Automation or Electrical) is required.
• Experience with PLC programming and electrical design is preferred.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as TIA Portal, B&R Automation Studio and EPLAN P8 is expected.
• Programming knowledge in VB, Python, C++, Java or SQLite is advantageous.
• Fluent Italian and English skills are expected; French is a plus.

• Contribute to product development by shaping solutions that improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead industrial automation projects from PLC software to digital twin integration for testing and production optimization.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to analyze data, reduce variability and drive improvements across functions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on World Class Manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives.
