Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze production processes, resolve issues, and support lean transformation across the factory to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost. Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field (electronics/mechatronics/mechanical/management).
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering with automatic assembly processes.
• Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English and Italian; strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to resolve process issues, reducing downtime and boosting yield.
• Own line performance in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Analyze errors in production and implement corrective actions.
• Apply lean tools to eliminate waste and improve flow.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation.
• Support automation initiatives for cost reduction and capacity expansion.
• Engage with product development to estimate costs and design new processes for NPI.
