Cumming Group in Milan seeks an Assistant Commercial Manager to support commercial management and cost consultancy for high-value data centre projects across Italy and Europe.

Work with senior leaders through feasibility, procurement, construction, and close-out, developing contractual and client-facing skills in a rapidly expanding digital infrastructure sector.

Competenze

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction, or related field.
• 3-7 years’ experience in quantity surveying or commercial management.
• MRICS, AssocRICS, or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC/JCT contracts and procurement routes.
• Experience on complex construction, data centres, or infrastructure is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Support delivery of commercial and cost management across data centre projects.
• Prepare and review cost plans, estimates, budgets, and benchmarking.
• Support procurement, tender prep, analysis, and reports.
• Administer NEC/JCT contracts where applicable.
• Review variations, change orders, and commercial submissions.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, cashflow, and stakeholder updates.
• Mentor junior team members; maintain project records and governance.
