Saipem is seeking an Asset Equipment Production Engineer to lead pipe lay equipment (PLE) development and integration for offshore projects. You will interface with suppliers, define equipment requirements, and evaluate bids to ensure timely delivery while supporting PLE strategy and investments.
The role requires 6–8 years in asset equipment, a Master’s degree in engineering, and strong English (B2). Offshore travel may be required as part of project needs and deployments.

Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.
Purpose of the position:
As Asset Equipment Production Engineer, you will respond to the PIPTEC Operation Manager and be part of the Offshore E&C - Pipeline Technologies function.
It's requested to have a master's degree in mechanical/ electrical/ Electronic/ Mechatronic/ Automation Engineering. It's possible to evaluate no graduated candidates with long and proven experience in equipment development/integration/management
6-8 years as an Asset Equipment Engineer or similar not necessarily in Oil &Gas Industry
It's mandatory very good knowledge (minimum B2 level) in read, written and spoken English
You will have the opportunity to travel abroad on our vessels or yard and technology center at Ploiesti (Romania) based on the project needs for short-midterm missions.
