RINA is seeking a Junior Naval Architect & Marine Engineer in Genoa, Italy, within the Plant Engineering Division. This role targets the protected-category designation under Italian Law 68/99 and involves contributing to marine and offshore projects.

The candidate will develop analyses for vessels and floating structures, perform studies with tools like Orcaflex and Ansys, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Travel to sites may be required.

Competenze

• Mandatory: Registered as protected category under Italian Law 68/99
• Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or equivalent (1–2 years experience considered a plus)
• Awareness of Class Rules and International Standards (API, ISO, PIANC)
• Basic understanding of marine/offshore assets (FPSO, FSRU, FLNG, FPSO)
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Availability to travel in Italy and abroad

Mansioni

• Develop engineering analyses for vessels, floating structures and terminals
• Perform engineering studies with software for mooring, maneuvering, offshore design and marine operations
• Carry out design and engineering activities at concept to FEED stages
• Review documents for compliance with project requirements and standards
• Assist in client meetings and in the preparation of proposals and reports
