Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Quality Engineer - ASME Orders in Italy to ensure full quality, regulatory, and documentation compliance for ASME orders. You will lead Project Quality Management, coordinate with project teams, define ITPs, and manage supplier quality while maintaining critical relationships with inspectors and customers.

The role requires a degree in mechanical/technical discipline, experience in QA for regulated projects, and strong English proficiency, with starting gross salary

Qualifications

• Proven background in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within industrial/manufacturing sectors
• Experience with ASME requirements for pressure equipment and project documentation
• Strong reading of technical drawings and customer specifications, with NDT understanding and ISO 9001 familiarity

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Quality Management by analyzing requirements during Order Review and coordinating with project teams
• Define and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and coordinate internal/external inspections
• Support supplier development to meet quality benchmarks and monitor testing activities
• Coordinate witness/hold points and audits by inspection agencies
• Oversee final project documentation such as Manufacturer's Data Reports and Data Books
