Job summary

Alfa Laval Olmi is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of highly engineered, custom-built mechanical products, bridging engineering design and workshop production. You will serve as the central contact for project planning, coordination, and client communication, working closely with international stakeholders.

The role demands a strong technical background in heavy manufacturing, extensive experience in project management, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in a project management or project engineering role within heavy machinery or complex product manufacturing.
• Strong technical foundation with experience in engineering departments, technical drawings, fabrication (welding, metallurgy), and shop-floor processes.
• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Energy, Management) – Master’s not required; practical field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex engineered orders from contract award to manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery.
• Interface between engineering, production, procurement and quality to ensure specs and timelines.
• Coordinate with international clients and stakeholders for updates and technical alignment.
• Oversee designs, drawings, materials, and welding requirements for critical assemblies.
• Maintain alignment with Alfa Laval Olmi production facilities in France.
• Monitor milestones, manage risks, and implement corrective actions on the shop floor.
