Job summary

Alfa Laval Olmi seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of highly engineered, custom-built mechanical products, bridging engineering design and workshop production.

You will act as the central liaison for project planning, interdepartmental coordination and client communications, with extensive exposure to welding, metallurgy, and precise manufacturing processes. A strong English background and monthly travel to France are required.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in PM or project engineering in heavy machinery or complex manufacturing.
• Strong technical background with engineering drawings, welding/metallurgy, and shop-floor processes.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Energy, or related discipline; Master’s not required.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French collaboration experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally (France) about once a month (~3 days per trip).
• Hybrid work is possible; proximity to Suisio (BG) preferred for critical assembly phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex engineered orders from contract award to delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality for specifications and timelines.
• Communicate project updates and coordinate technically with international clients.
• Oversee designs, drawings, materials, and welding requirements for projects.
• Maintain alignment with Alfa Laval facilities in France and other sites.
• Monitor milestones, address risks, and implement corrective actions on the shop floor.
