Baker Hughes invites engineering students and recent graduates to join our Internship Program in Italy. You will work on plant process simulations and optimization, using leading software, under guidance from mentors, with training and exposure to HS&E and a diverse, inclusive culture.

You will participate in focused training, team meetings, and project work, presenting results to leaders while developing practical skills for a career in energy technology.

Competenze

• Enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related STEM field.
• GPA ≥ 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Experience with tools & SW development, testing, and system modeling.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink; Aspen Hysys, Unisim or similar plant/process modeling tools.
• Basic programming ability (e.g., Python).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to generate clear reports and presentations for leadership.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing; good communication.
• Eligible to work in the country without sponsorship.

• Explore and test capabilities of commercial software in Baker Hughes availability (ROM generation/usage).
• Support digital development programs for design and optimization of plants.
• Collaborate with engineers, interns and leaders to meet project goals and address technical challenges.
• Interact with cross-functional teams and network with global leaders.
• Learn software tools to assist project tasks and deliverables.
• Provide research, data analysis and technical support for ongoing projects.
• Contribute to design processes, drawings or prototypes for new technologies.
• Keep records of experiments and prepare reports and documentation as needed.
• Apply HS&E standards to ensure compliance across activities.
