Baker Hughes is offering an Internship program in Italy for students pursuing Bachelors’ or Masters’ degrees or recent graduates. You will gain hands‑on experience across LNG, geothermal, and industrial processes, under mentorship, focusing on process simulation, design optimization and technology integration.

You will work with leading software tools, learn from engineers and contribute to real projects while developing technical and presentation skills in a supportive environment.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM‑related or business‑related program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale).
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Aspen Hysys/Unisim for Plant/Process/System modeling.
• Basic Python programming experience.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Copilot.
• Ability to generate reports and presentations for leadership.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Eligible to work in the country without sponsorship or time restrictions.

Mansioni

• Explore capabilities of commercial software (ASPEN Hysys, ANSYS Twin Builder, COMSOL) for ROM generation and usage.
• Support Digital development programs for design and off-design plant optimization.
• Collaborate with team to meet project goals and address technical issues.
• Interact with cross-functional teams and interns to network with global business leaders.
• Learn software to assist with project completion.
• Assist engineers with research, data analysis and technical support.
• Contribute to design processes, create drawings or prototypes, and develop new products or technologies.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports documenting experiments and progress.
• Apply HS&E standards to ensure compliance.
