Job summary

BluLang is seeking an experienced engineer to design, build and run AI agents central to our offerings across WhatsApp, voice and web. You will take an agent from a first prompt to production, ensuring safety, measurability, and real business value.

You will collaborate with designers in Milano and engineers in Guangzhou, shaping reusable components for BLUbot and BPI while delivering tangible results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering with production code to show.
• Hands-on work with large language models: prompting, tools, retrieval.
• Strong judgment on privacy, safety and failure modes.
• Care for the person on the other side of the conversation.

Responsibilities

• Build agents that answer, book and sell across WhatsApp, voice and web.
• Design prompts, tools and retrieval so agents act on real data.
• Write evaluations and monitoring for safe, measurable releases.
• Decide with the team where an agent hands over to a person.
• Turn working components into reusable BLUbot and BPI parts.
• Collaborate with designers in Milano and engineers in Guangzhou.
