Job summary

Leonardo, a global leader in aerospace, defence and security, seeks a junior Control Method Engineer for the Cascina Costa (VA) site. You will prepare method documentation and assembly/instruction sets, align with SAP and other systems, and assist production with dimensional inspections.

The role requires a Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering master’s degree and 1–3 years’ experience, with English at B1/B2 level. Hybrid work arrangement and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (MSc)
• 1–3 years of experience (Junior)
• English level B1/B2

Responsibilities

• Generate instructions from drawings and specs, update with changes
• Define control methods for assemblies using SAP and engineering systems
• Support production in dimensional inspections and clarify instructions
• Determine task times based on efficiency criteria
• Manage inspection documentation for internal and subcontractors
• Evaluate requests for tooling/method changes (R.M.M.A.)
• Interface with workshop and other departments to drive quality and cost improvements
• Ensure information transfer among users through effective communication tools
