YellowSquare in Florence is seeking an Activity Host to become the heartbeat of our hostel. You’ll design and host events that spark conversations, connect guests from around the world, and turn spaces into lively communities.

The role suits someone with stage presence, strong English, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and a passion for hospitality. Join a young, international team and help guests feel part of the global YellowSquare family in Tuscany.

YellowSquare is looking for an Activity Host. You won’t just run activities—you’ll be the heartbeat of the hostel, responsible for bringing our spaces to life and crafting unforgettable moments that make our guests feel part of the global YellowSquare community right here in Florence.

• Lead & Inspire: Be the face of legendary quiz nights, karaoke, tournaments, and creative challenges;
• Innovate: Propose and co-design fresh daytime and evening event formats to keep our vibe ahead of the curve;
• Grow with us: Work in a young, international, and creative environment where you can test your ideas and grow professionally.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building Community: Actively creating opportunities for guests to meet, break the ice, and form lasting connections;
• Taking the Stage: Hosting with a microphone, presenting confidently, and engaging diverse, international crowds with ease;
• Working the Room: Being the ultimate host—moving through the crowd to ensure every guest feels included and welcomed;
• Collaborating: Working closely with the Bar and Reception teams to ensure every experience runs smoothly from start to finish;
• Keeping the Energy High: Bringing high vibes and a proactive, hands‑on approach to every single shift.

What you should have:

• Vibrant Energy: A positive attitude and the ability to lead a crowd with flair and charisma;
• Stage Presence: Strong communication skills and total confidence in front of an audience;
• Global Mindset: A friendly, welcoming personality, comfortable interacting with people from all corners of the world;
• Language Skills: High proficiency in spoken English (Italian and other languages are a huge plus!);
• Flexibility: Availability for evening and weekend events, fitting perfectly with our on‑call schedule;
• Professionalism: Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to manage group dynamics effectively.
