Job summary

Rotork is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 9-month contract at the Porcari (LUCCA) site. You will design and document shop floor processes, drive continuous improvements, and support audits and problem solving across production lines.

Ideal candidates hold a manufacturing/industrial engineering degree with 5+ years in a similar role, apply Lean tools, and show strong data analysis and CAD skills. Fluent Italian and English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a technical diploma.
• Minimum 5 years as Manufacturing/Production/Industrial Engineer in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in engineering-led production environments delivering electromechanical products.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement with proven efficiency/quality gains.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and document shop floor processes.
• Support audits, technical issues and problem investigations/resolutions.
• Propose new processes and equipment where appropriate.
• Collaborate with team, communicate effectively, and work independently when needed.
