Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics in Lombardy, Milano area seeks a 3PL Delivery Operations professional to manage and optimize third-party delivery partners, ensuring efficient last-mile service and adherence to SLAs.

You will analyze delivery KPIs, collaborate with warehousing, customer service and supply chain teams, and lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing and quality. English fluency is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in logistics or supply chain operations, focusing on 3PL and last-mile delivery.
• Proven track record of optimizing delivery processes and achieving efficiencies.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation, trend identification, and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS).
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin Chinese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of 3PL delivery partners, ensuring SLAs and performance metrics.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce transit times.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs related to delivery operations; identify improvement areas and implement actions.
• Collaborate with warehousing, customer service, and supply chain teams to streamline processes.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with 3PL partners and develop action plans for improvements.
• Manage contract negotiations and maintain relationships with 3PL providers for pricing and quality.
• Identify and evaluate new 3PL partners to expand capabilities and network coverage.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and present reports on delivery performance, costs, and improvements to management.
