Saipem ricerca un 1st Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor da inserire nel dipartimento Offshore Operations. Figura chiave per coordinare attività, persone e mezzi a bordo, garantendo sicurezza, qualità e rispetto delle procedure.

Si richiede laurea in ingegneria e oltre 10–15 anni di esperienza in O&G con 5–10 anni in progetti offshore. Disponibilità a viaggiare e contratti offshore. Contratto permanente, alloggio e indennità offshore incluse.

Competenze

• Laurea preferibile in ingegneria civile, meccanica o navale.
• 10–15 anni di esperienza O&G + 5–10 anni in progetti offshore installazioni.
• Conoscenza dell’Inglese almeno B2/C1 e dell’italiano.

Mansioni

• Coordinare lavoro e personale a bordo per turno, nel rispetto specifiche di progetto, sicurezza e qualità.
• Assistere il Construction Manager nell’intero coordinamento interdisciplinare delle attività a bordo.
• Gestire la squadra di capisquadra e supervisori nelle varie discipline di costruzione e montaggio.
• Coordinare le attività di cantiere durante il turno e ottimizzare le fasi di produzione.
• Mantenere informato il Construction Manager su problemi e stato della costruzione.
• Garantire conformità al sistema Permit-to-Work e svolgere brief e JSA quando richiesto.
• Gestire operazioni di gru e l’interazione con equipaggi e fornitori.

Purpose of the position:

As 1st Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor, you will be part of the Asset Based Services BL (ABSER) within the Offshore Operations Department.

How can you support us?

• Coordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specification, in order to ensure efficient performance and respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices


• Assist the Offshore Construction Manager with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board


• Supervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work, in order to comply with the quality and safety standard


• Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phases


• Ensure that the Offshore Construction Manager is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status


• Liaise with Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer in order to ensure preventive maintenance and construction activities


• Liaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production


• Solve matters related to coordination, priority and interface between the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of the project


• Ensure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensures that the daily Tool Box Talks and JSA, if required, are carried out according to the procedures


• Motivate all construction crew/subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awareness


• Ensure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform the activities in a safe manner


• Report incidents and near‑miss events


• Manage the Crane operations, including coordination with the Chief Mate for main crane movements on board, ROV launching and underwater operations


• Assist marine operations if required


• Provide a construction report at the end of each shift


• Assist the Vessel Field Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, operation and monitoring of the stinger and JLT


• Ensure the rigging gear used is within date and properly marked

What are we looking for?

• Education: Preferably with bachelor degree in civil, mechanical or naval engineering.


• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the O&G business + 5-10 years of experience in Offshore Installation projects


• Languages: Italian and English B2/C1

What else should you know?

You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the scope assigned.

• For overseas contract (offshore): Basic Pay not lower than 40.000 € plus overseas allowances


• Location: Abroad. Availability to work offshore shifts.
