Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Zonal Sales Manager to lead six zones across the territory with a focus on Maharashtra, Delhi NCR, and nearby markets. You will drive top-line growth, expand distributor networks, and build a high-performing sales team to deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

The role requires extensive hosiery/textiles experience, strong channel negotiations, and a track record of strategic market expansion. Bachelor's degree is required,MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of progressive sales with regional or zonal responsibilities in hosiery/textiles.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred for advanced roles.
• Deep understanding of hosiery supply chain, margins, and seasonal demand cycles.
• Ability to negotiate with large distributor networks.

Responsibilities

• Drive zone-wide primary and secondary sales to meet targets.
• Expand and manage distributor and dealer networks; oversee stock and margins.
• Recruit, train, and mentor ASMs and Marketing Executives; conduct appraisals.
• Formulate strategies to penetrate untapped markets and launch products.
• Plan retailer promotions, merchandising, and brand visibility at POI.
• Monitor payments, manage credit limits, and ensure cash flow.

Vacant Position: Zonal Sales Manager

• Required resources from and for: 1. West Zone- Will be responsible for Maharashtra, Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh.

  2. North Zone- Will be responsible for West UP, Delhi, NCR, Rajasthan, Himachal, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu.

• Working days: 6
• Experience:6 to 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2-4 years handling regional or zonal responsibilities in the hosiery, textilesindustry.
• Education:Bachelor’s degree in any general stream, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degrees/MBAs are preferred.
• Industry Knowledge:Deep understanding of the hosiery supply chain, garment margins, and seasonal demand cycles (e.g., innerwear, thermals, loungewear).
• Channel Management:Ability to negotiate with and manage large distributor networks.

Job Responsibilities

1. Target Achievement:Drive zone-wide primary and secondary sales to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
2. Distribution Management:Expand, optimize, and manage the distributor and dealer network. Oversee distributor stock holding and manage channel margins.
3. Team Leadership:Recruit, train, and mentor Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Marketing Executives. Conduct performance appraisals and motivate teams to maximize productivity.
4. Market Expansion:Formulate strategies for penetrating untapped markets and launching new hosiery products or seasonal collections.
5. Trade Marketing & Branding:Plan and implement retailer promotion schemes, merchandising, and brand visibility campaigns at the point of sale.
6. Credit Control:Monitor outstanding payments, manage market credit limits, and ensure healthy cash flow and timely collections as per company policy.
