Job summary

GVK EMRI invites an experienced Operations Leader to oversee the 108/102/1962 ambulance services across 3–4 districts, ensuring SLA compliance, efficient fleet use, and optimal staffing of 100–120 personnel. You will drive stakeholder engagement and brand visibility in the region.

Candidates must hold BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with an MBA and have 10+ years in large-scale fleet or emergency services operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of overall experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing operations in Large Scale Fleet Projects/ Large Scale Automobile Projects / Emergency Services Projects.
• Education - MBA/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficiency of Operations of 108/102/1962 Ambulances in the assigned Cluster (3-4 districts).
• Lead 100-120 ambulance staff across regions; ensure effective utilization of human resources.
• Develop and implement plans for strengthening interface with Partners; drive expansions and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure SLAs, resource mobilization, fleet serviceability, response times, and stakeholder engagement to boost customer satisfaction.
• Monitor costs and approve expenses within limits; liaison with media for awareness campaigns.

Role Description:-

• Responsible for efficiency of Operations of 108/102/1962 Ambulances in the assigned Cluster, comprising 3-4 districts.
• Ensure effective utilization & engagement of human resources in the Region and provide leadership to the team of EMEs and 100-120 ambulance staff in the various districts of the region.
• Develop and Implement plans for strengthening interface with the Partners in the region & play a key role in expansions and major business plans for the Region besides facilitating periodical meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensuring SLAs on time, efficiency in resource mobilization including fleet efficiency/ serviceability, response times, stake holder engagement, brand building, leading to better customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring the cost of operations and approve all expenses related to operations within the authorized limits, including employee expenses & OT.
• Interface with media with regard to operations in the Region. Develop a comprehensive plan to create awareness, like Contact programs, advertisements, organizing beneficiary meets. etc.
• Responsible for all activities related to fleet. Review vendor development, timely repair of vehicles, timely schedule servicing, optimal uptime, and optimal fuel utilization.
• Handling operations issues and escalations from key stake holders in the District.
• Responsible for handling maximum emergencies possible in the assigned territory through the optimum utilization of available resources through proper manpower planning & positioning, better fleet management to ensure maximum uptime of ambulances.
• Effectively manage and motivate Field manpower for smooth operations.
• Ensure cordial relations with the Media, conduct Press meets periodically and ensure optimal media coverage about 108 services in the assigned area of operations.
• Develop comprehensive plans to conduct EM training programs in the assigned territory
• Responsible for conducting brand awareness campaigns/activities/public engagement activities Presentations, Events, co- branding etc.

Qualifications:-
