• Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness, safety and compliance.
• Maintain service records, job cards and maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with operations and control room to ensure ambulance availability.
• Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate with stores/vendors.
• Handle vendor coordination for specialized repairs and AMC services.

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities of ambulances and support vehicles
• Ensure maximum ambulance uptime and immediate response to breakdowns
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules
• Allocate work to mechanics and technicians based on priority and emergency needs
• Coordinate emergency breakdown support at any time (24/7 readiness)
• Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness, safety, and statutory compliance
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of medical fittings (oxygen systems, stretchers, power supply, AC, lights, sirens, GPS, etc.)
• Maintain service records, job cards, and maintenance logs
• Coordinate with operations and control room teams to ensure ambulance availability
• Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate with stores/vendors
• Handle vendor coordination for specialized repairs and AMC services
