Job summary

GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI) seeks an experienced Operations Leader to oversee the efficiency of 108 Ambulance operations across 9-10 districts in Rajasthan.

You will lead Programme Managers, EMTs and 300-600 ambulance staff, drive partnerships with hospitals and vendors, ensure SLAs, optimal fleet use, and cost control.

The role emphasizes strong communication, team building and strategic planning to expand services and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of supervisory experience in operations.
• MBA/PG with exposure to operations, marketing or sales.
• Excellent communication, team-building and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for efficiency of Operations of 108 Ambulances in the assigned region, comprising 9-10 districts.
• Ensure effective and qualitative pre hospital care.
• Ensure effective utilization & engagement of human resources in the Region and provide leadership to the team of Program Managers & EMEs and 300-600 ambulance staff in the various districts of the region.
• Develop and Implement plans for strengthening interface with the Partners in the region & play a key role in expansions and major business plans for the Region besides facilitating periodical meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensuring SLAs on time, efficiency in resource mobilization including fleet efficiency/ serviceability, response times, stake holder engagement, brand building, leading to better customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring the cost of operations and approve all expenses related to operations within the authorized limits, including employee expenses & OT.
• Interface with media with regard to operations in the Region. Develop a comprehensive plan to create awareness, like Contact programs, advertisements, organizing beneficiary meets. etc.
• Responsible for all activities related to fleet. Review vendor development, timely repair of vehicles, timely schedule servicing, optimal uptime, and optimal fuel utilization.
• Review the Hospital Relations for effective customer care & training programs/ target adherence and guide PMs and facilitate for working agreements with private hospitals.
• Handling operations issues and escalations from key stake holders in the District.
• Maintaining good Hospital Relations to ensure prompt care of patients taken by 108 ambulances
• Responsible for handling maximum emergencies possible in the assigned territory through the optimum utilization of available resources through proper manpower planning & positioning, better fleet management to ensure maximum uptime of ambulances.
• Effectively manage and motivate Field manpower for smooth operations.
• Ensure cordial relations with the Media, conduct Press meets periodically and ensure optimal media coverage about 108 services in the assigned area of operations.
• Develop comprehensive plans to conduct EM training programs in the assigned territory
• Responsible for conducting brand awareness campaigns/activities/public engagement activities Presentations, Events, co- branding etc .
• Identify and develop New Vendors (Fleet, Fuel, Oxygen) in district/ assigned area of operations and effectively manage vendor relations for smooth operations.
• Driving Key Initiatives for strengthening operations.
• Handling & dissemination of MIS reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Should be PG / MBA with work experience in Operations/ Marketing/ Sales.

• At least 10 years experience in a Supervisory Role.
• Max Age Limit- 45 Yrs
• Should have effective communication, team building, negotiation and analytical skills, good reading and writing skills with fluency in Hindi & English.
