Job summary

Auswide Global India is seeking a Zoho People Specialist to configure, automate and manage our HR systems across the AusWide group. You will own Zoho People end to end, from employee records and leave to onboarding and performance, and connect it with the rest of our Zoho One stack.

You will configure modules, customize forms and layouts, build workflows, and integrate with Zoho Recruit, Payroll and Analytics while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Zoho People configuration and administration.
• Strong Deluge scripting for workflows and custom functions.
• Understanding of onboarding, leave, attendance, performance and offboarding processes.
• Experience with integrations between Zoho People and other Zoho apps.
• Ability to translate HR requirements into practical system solutions.

Job description

We're looking for a Zoho People Specialist to configure, automate and manage our HR systems across the AusWide group. You'll own Zoho People end to end, from employee records and leave to onboarding and performance, and connect it with the rest of our Zoho One stack.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage Zoho People modules, including employee records, onboarding, offboarding, leave, attendance, timesheets, shifts and performance.
• Customise forms, fields, layouts, views, roles and permissions to match HR policies across group companies.
• Build workflows, approval processes, email alerts and custom functions using Deluge scripting.
• Set up leave policies, holiday calendars, attendance rules and shift schedules for Australian and offshore teams.
• Integrate Zoho People with Zoho Recruit, Payroll, Expense, Books, CRM and third-party systems through APIs and webhooks.
• Automate candidate-to-employee handover from Zoho Recruit into People.
• Manage employee data migration, imports, deduplication and clean-up.
• Build HR reports and dashboards in Zoho People and Zoho Analytics.
• Keep employee data accurate, secure and compliant with privacy and employment requirements.
• Support implementations end to end: requirements, configuration, testing, rollout, training, documentation and post-go-live support.
• Act as the first point of contact for Zoho People issues, troubleshooting and user support.
• Develop AI-powered HR workflows, such as employee self-service chatbots and HR virtual assistants.

Required

• 2+ years of hands-on Zoho People configuration and administration.
• Working knowledge of Deluge scripting for workflows and custom functions.
• Understanding of core HR processes: onboarding, leave, attendance, performance and offboarding.
• Experience with integrations between Zoho People and other Zoho apps.
• The ability to turn HR requirements into practical system solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including training non-technical users.
• Self-motivated; works independently to deadlines.
• Interest in AI tools such as Claude and in building HR chatbots or assistants.
• Familiarity with Obsidian for documentation.
• Experience with Zoho Recruit, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Flow or Zoho Analytics.
• Knowledge of Australian employment basics, such as leave entitlements and the Fair Work framework.
• Data migration from other HR systems into Zoho People.
• Prompt engineering and AI integration experience.
