Job summary

Panigrahana Weddings in Bengaluru is seeking a proactive Wedding Sales Consultant for a full‑time, on‑site role. You will discuss celebration styles, venues, budgets, and client requirements with couples, then work with our design and planning teams to develop a relevant proposal.

You will own the sales cycle from inquiry to confirmed booking: qualify leads, lead discovery calls, present decor concepts, coordinate site visits, handle objections, follow up, and progress enquiries into bookings,

Qualifications

• Previous client-facing sales experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, banquet venues or wedding/events businesses.
• Experience handling enquiries, proposals, follow-ups and closing bookings.
• A consultative approach: discuss budgets/expectations respectfully and recommend suitable scope.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organised follow-through and disciplined use of a CRM or sales tracker.
• Comfort working with creative and operations teams, with an understanding that a sale must be deliverable.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and participate in client meetings and venue visits as required.

Responsibilities

• Qualify incoming enquiries: understand the wedding date, location, guest count, functions, budget, priorities and decision-makers.
• Lead discovery calls and client meetings with warmth, confidence and attentive listening.
• Translate the brief into a clear proposal with our design and planning teams, explaining scope, inclusions, exclusions and next steps.
• Present decor concepts and planning services in a way that helps clients make informed decisions.
• Coordinate site visits and proposal discussions, handle objections and negotiate within agreed commercial guidelines.
• Follow up consistently, maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and take responsibility for progressing enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Coordinate booking documentation and agreed payment milestones with the relevant teams.
• Hand over confirmed projects thoroughly so the execution team understands exactly what was promised.
• Work towards agreed sales targets while protecting the client experience and keeping commitments realistic.

Panigrahana Weddings | Bengaluru | Full-time, on-site | 6 openings

COMPENSATION

8–10 lakh per annum fixed + 6 lakh per annum performance-linked variable. Annual on-target earnings: 14–16 lakh. The variable component is linked to sales performance and is not guaranteed fixed pay.

WHAT YOU WILL SELL

Wedding decor, design and wedding planning services. You will discuss celebration styles, venues, event requirements and budgets with couples and families, then work with our design and planning teams to develop a relevant proposal. The core of this role is selling our wedding services; familiarity with hotel, resort and banquet operations will help you advise clients well.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous client-facing sales experience in hospitality: hotels, resorts, banquet venues or a wedding/events business serving hospitality clients.
• Experience personally handling enquiries, proposals, follow-ups and closing bookings.
• A consultative approach: you can discuss budgets and expectations respectfully, build trust with couples and families, and recommend a suitable scope.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organised follow-through and disciplined use of a CRM or sales tracker.
• Comfort working with creative and operations teams, with an understanding that a good sale must also be deliverable.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and participate in client meetings and venue visits as required.

Experience selling weddings, banquets, social events or bespoke event packages is especially relevant. You do not need to be a designer, but you should be interested in decor and able to communicate a creative proposal clearly. This is a hands‑on individual sales role with ownership of your own client pipeline.
