Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, organized, and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our events team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing weddings from initial consultation through successful event completion. This role requires outstanding communication, creativity, vendor management, and client relationship skills to ensure every wedding exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• * Meet with prospective and confirmed clients to understand their wedding vision, preferences, budget, and requirements.
• * Develop customized wedding concepts, themes, timelines, and event plans.
• * Coordinate with internal hotel departments including Banquets, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and Security.
• * Liaise with decorators, photographers, entertainment providers, florists, makeup artists, transportation vendors, and other external partners.
• * Prepare event proposals, quotations, contracts, and detailed function sheets.
• * Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effective planning without compromising quality.
• * Conduct venue walkthroughs and client meetings before the event.
• * Oversee wedding setup, rehearsals, and event execution to ensure smooth operations.
• * Resolve on-site issues promptly and professionally while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
• * Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• * Stay updated with the latest wedding trends, dcor concepts, and industry best practices.
• * Assist the Sales and Marketing team in promoting wedding packages and generating business opportunities.

Qualifications

• * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• * Certification in Event or Wedding Planning is an added advantage.

Experience

• * 25 years of experience in wedding planning, event management, luxury hospitality, or banquet operations.
• * Experience in luxury hotels or premium wedding venues will be preferred.
