Job summary

Seventy Event Media Group in Mumbai seeks a senior leader to head planning and production of world-class celebrations and weddings for HNI and corporate clients worldwide.

The candidate will manage a large team, drive luxury branding, and expand client/vendor networks, while overseeing every stage from business development to design and delivery.

This role requires 8+ years in weddings/live entertainment/hospitality with postgraduate education and a passion for international aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate, preferably with a Hospitality Background.

Responsibilities

• Understand luxury with strong international and Indian aesthetics in weddings/events.
• Deep knowledge of weddings/social events industry and current Indian/global wedding scene.
• Eye for detail in planning and execution to meet/exceed client requirements.
• Lead a team of 10+ planners, designers and production crew with demonstrated leadership.
• Expand/develop client and vendor databases through personal networks.
• Experience in developing new business opportunities within events.
• Plan and execute all wedding stages from business development to pitching, budgeting, design and production.
• Build brand custodianship, social media presence and PR links across media and online platforms for weddings & events.
• Build, manage and retain high-performing teams.

The Job: To lead the team in planning and producing world class celebrations and weddings for HNI and corporate houses from across the world.

Educational Qualification

Postgraduate. Preferably with a Hospitality Background.

Work Experience

8+ years of experience in the Weddings/Live Entertainment/Hospitality Industry managing social events.

Responsibilities

• Possess an understanding of luxury and have a strong sense of international and Indian aesthetics in the weddings and events business
• In depth knowledge of the weddings and social events industry and current on goings in the Indian and global wedding scenario.
• Have an eye for detail during planning as well as execution and ensure all clients requirements are met and exceeded
• Must have the ability to lead a team of 10 or more planners, designers and production crew and exhibit leadership through setting a living example
• Have the ability to expand and develop the client and vendors database through networks of her/his own
• Have exposure as well as experience in developing new business
• Ability to plan and execute all the stages of a wedding starting from the business development stage, to pitching, budgeting, closures, planning, designing and producing.
• Must be able to take on brand custodianship. Possess the ability to build social media platforms and further PR links across media houses and online weddings & social event platforms.
• Must be able to build, manage and retain high performing teams.
