Job summary

Mouser in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced QA professional to lead testing across functional, performance, and API domains. You will design test plans, guide automation efforts, and mentor the QA team to ensure quality across projects.

Responsibilities include building test environments, executing cases, and driving process improvements within Agile/DevOps flows. ISTQB advanced is a plus; bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Internal candidates: Minimum 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or a total of 2 years as a Mouser employee.

Responsibilities

• Set up test environments, design test plans, develop test cases and execute them.
• Create, assign, and track project work plans and provide technical guidance for delivery.
• Plan work schedule for on-time delivery per defined quality standards.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures via root cause analysis.
• Ensure process improvements and compliance; participate in technical discussions or reviews.
• Partner with automation team to develop strategy/effort and generate scripts for automated testing.
• Lead QA team to design test conditions, data and automation scripts.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, UAT and performance testing.
• Define metrics, create reports, and monitor QA processes.
• Analyze existing QA processes and develop new or revised quality standards.
• Manage teams with integrity and Mouser policies and practices.
• Provide performance feedback including hiring, transfer, advancement, termination.
• Expertise in testing techniques and review process.
• Understand UI/UX from business user perspective.
• Experience with open-source automation tools.
• Execute automation scripts and train team members.
• Exposure to Selenium, BDD, pytest, QTP, Robot Framework, JMeter.
• Knowledge of Python, VB Script, C, Java.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of Test Architecture and design.
• Experience in Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery; DevOps QA.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification is a plus.

Overview

Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance, regression, and service.

Responsibilities

• Setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
• Able to Create, Assign, and track the project/module work plans for delivery and provide the technical guidance for work completion.
• Ability to plan work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures based on the Root Cause Analysis.
• Ensure process improvements and compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions or review.
• Partner with the automation team to develop strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing.
• Leading the QA team to design and create test conditions, test data and test automation scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Experience in Various Testing Phases- Functional, Regression, Integration, User Acceptance and Performance Testing.
• Ability to Define metrics, create reports, and develop statistics, for organizational reporting and monitoring of quality processes within QA department.
• Analyze existing QA quality processes and develop new or revised quality standards as needed.
• Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
• Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
• Expertise in testing techniques and review process.
• Good understanding and business knowledge in areas of QA as to what Business users will experience – UI/UX.
• Ability to use a wide variety of open-source automation technologies and tools.
• Ability to execute automation scripts and train team members as required.
• Exposure in automation testing frameworks and tools- Selenium, BDD, pytest, QTP, Robot Framework, JMeter.
• Knowledge on Python, VB Script, C, Java.
