Role & responsibilities Machine Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting high-speed Air-Jet looms (e.g., Toyota JAT series, Picanol, Tsudakoma, or Itema).
Process & Preparatory Knowledge: Strong technical background in yarn counts, sizing quality, warp tension tuning, shedding mechanisms, and reducing end breaks/loom stoppages.
Quality & Production: Proven track record in minimizing fabric defects, maintaining loom efficiency, and supervising shift operators and maintenance fitters.
Shed Supervision: Experience managing daily loom plans, beam loading, and preventative maintenance protocols.
Oversee day-to-day loom shed operations to hit daily output and efficiency targets.
Inspect grey fabric quality and address defects (such as filling stops, warp floats, or uneven tension) immediately on the shop floor.
Coordinate beam changes, sizing beam inspections, and air compressor/machine settings to ensure smooth continuous running.
Lead and train shift supervisors, technicians, and operators.
