Job summary

Shiva Texyarn is seeking an experienced Weaving Technician / Weaving Master / Assistant Manager Weaving to lead our Terry Looms and towel manufacturing operations. The role requires hands-on weaving experience and a strong track record in a fast-paced textile production environment.

You will oversee daily weaving activities, optimize loom performance, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Stores to meet schedules and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in textile weaving.
• Hands-on experience with Terry Looms / Terry Towel manufacturing.
• Experience supervising shop-floor teams and operators.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day weaving operations and ensure smooth production.
• Handle and troubleshoot Terry Looms and weaving machinery.
• Monitor loom performance, production efficiency and machine utilization.
• Identify and rectify loom-related technical issues and breakdowns.
• Ensure proper loom settings, weaving parameters and production standards.
• Monitor fabric quality and minimize weaving defects, wastage and rejections.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Stores teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure timely production as per the planned schedule and customer requirements.
• Supervise weaving operators and junior technicians on machine operation.
• Train and develop operators on troubleshooting and safe practices.

• Identify and rectify loom‑related technical issues and breakdowns.
• Ensure proper loom settings, weaving parameters and production standards.
• Monitor fabric quality and minimize weaving defects, wastage and rejections.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Stores teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure timely production as per the planned schedule and customer requirements.
• Supervise and guide weaving operators, technicians and other shop‑floor personnel.
• Ensure proper handling of yarn, beam, sizing and other weaving‑related materials.
• Analyze recurring machine/production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, efficiency reports and breakdown reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping and operational standards.
• Train and develop operators and junior technicians on machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce production losses.
