Job summary

Smart Work Consultants is seeking an experienced Weaving Production Planning professional to manage weaving schedules, optimize loom utilization, and ensure on-time fabric delivery per customer requirements. The role involves daily, weekly, and monthly planning, loom allocation, and cross-functional coordination across merchandising, PPC, production, dyeing, sizing, warping, and quality teams.

Home textile manufacturing experience, PPC/ERP familiarity, and strong analytical planning skills are

Qualifications

• Experience in weaving production planning and scheduling.
• Exposure to Home Textile / Textile Manufacturing environments.
• Strong coordination across Merchandising, PPC, Production, Dyeing, Sizing, Warping, and Quality teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP tools.
• Knowledge of loom capacity planning and yarn/beam management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly weaving production plans.
• Plan loom allocation based on orders, fabric specifications, capacity, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Production, Dyeing, Sizing, Warping, and Quality teams.
• Monitor loom capacity, production progress, and order status.
• Ensure timely availability of yarn, beams, designs, and other production inputs.
• Track production against planned quantities and identify delays.
• Follow up with weaving teams and outsourced weaving units, wherever applicable.
• Optimize loom utilization, production efficiency, and capacity.
• Prioritize urgent orders and revise production schedules when required.
• Monitor fabric requirements and ensure timely completion of weaving orders.
• Prepare production planning reports, MIS, and pending order status.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure production plans are aligned with customer delivery commitments.
