Job summary

Tech Weave International Private Limited is seeking a hands-on Loom Operations Supervisor to manage Sulzer Looms for PP/HDPE woven fabric production. You will steer daily operations to meet the production plan and quality standards.

You will monitor loom performance, address warp/weft issues, control GSM and fabric construction parameters, and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, PPC and Stores to ensure smooth runs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Sulzer Loom operations experience, PP/HDPE packaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PP/HDPE woven fabric manufacturing and weaving processes.
• Proficient in loom settings, fabric construction, GSM, density and quality parameters.
• Ability to troubleshoot Sulzer Loom operational issues.
• Proven manpower handling and shift management skills.
• Understanding of production planning, efficiency, wastage and downtime control.
• Ability to coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and PPC teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Sulzer Looms for PP/HDPE woven fabric production.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan and quality standards.
• Monitor loom performance, efficiency, production output and downtime.
• Handle loom settings, warp/weft issues, fabric construction, GSM and quality.
• Identify and resolve loom-related problems such as warp breaks and machine stoppages.
• Ensure proper utilization of PP/HDPE tapes, yarn and other materials.
• Supervise operators and helpers, allocate manpower, and manage shifts.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, PPC and Stores for smooth production.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime reports and loom efficiency data.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, housekeeping and 5S practices.

• Identify and resolve loom-related problems such as warp breaks, weft breaks, fabric defects, and machine stoppages.


• Ensure proper utilization of PP/HDPE tapes, yarn, and other raw materials.


• Supervise operators and helpers, allocate manpower, and ensure effective shift management.


• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, PPC, and Stores teams for smooth production.


• Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime reports, and loom efficiency data.


• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, housekeeping, and 5S practices.
