Job summary

Amann Group in India is seeking a seasoned maintenance engineer to lead dyeing, finishing, and winding engineering activities. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, plan budgets, and drive energy-saving projects while ensuring health and safety compliance.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with PLC/Drive/SCADA, HT systems, and strong procurement know‑how, with a focus on preventive and breakdown maintenance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 9+ years experience in a textile industry engaged in core Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of PLC, Drive, and SCADA systems.
• Practical experience managing HT (High Tension) systems.
• Must possess a valid C License.
• Having adequate knowledge about mechanical and procurement related matters.
• Efficient in performing Preventive, Breakdown, Schedule maintenance and Overhauling.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills and action oriented for improvement.
• Good organization abilities, people management, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Dyeing machine breakdown, preventive maintenance & Scheduling.
• Planning & budgeting for engineering expenses.
• Finishing & Final Winding machine breakdown, preventive maintenance & Scheduling.
• Procurement of engineering items & quality checking.
• Responsible to make project profile based on the criteria Green and energy saving concept.
• Looking after the project work and other project related activities.
• Managing the Dyeing, Finishing, Final Winding & Warehouse engineering activities and whole engineering team.
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Spare management
• ISO 9001/2015 process documentation & implementation.
• Providing Induction training to new employees.
• Organizing & conducting internal technical training to engineering team.
• Ensure target KPIs.
• Liaise with maintenance for machine breakdown and machine performance and maintained records & submit the same with management.
• Keep the working place and machines clean and tidy. Promote good housekeeping.
• Monitor compliance with Health and Safety SOP and machinery operation SOPs, and promote high level safety awareness and compliance among team members.
• Monitor & ensure the pressure vessels & instrument calibration certificates.
• To coordinate with third party to complete AMC related work.
