Candidates should have 2–3 years in stores/inventory in manufacturing, with knowledge of ERP and MS Excel, and a focus on 5S and safety. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Stores / Inventory experience in a manufacturing company.
• Experience in Automobile / EV / Engineering Manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and inventory management.
• Knowledge of GRN, material issue, stock reconciliation, FIFO, and physical inventory.
• MS Excel proficiency and good documentation skills.

• Ensure proper 5S, housekeeping and safety within the store.

Ashma Motors Private Limited (AMPL) is looking for experienced and responsible Warehouse Executive for its EV manufacturing facilities at Baidyabati and Diara (near Singur), West Bengal.

The Store Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day stores and inventory activities, including material receipt, GRN, storage, material issue, ERP transactions, stock monitoring, physical verification and inventory documentation.

The position requires close coordination with Production, Purchase, Quality and other internal departments to ensure timely availability and smooth movement of materials for manufacturing operations.

We are looking for candidates with hands‑on experience in store operations within a manufacturing environment, along with strong knowledge of ERP‑based inventory management.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store and inventory operations at the EV manufacturing plant.
• Handle material receipt, GRN, storage, issue and stock transfer.
• Ensure timely material issuance to Production / Assembly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and all material transactions in ERP.
• Monitor stock levels, shortages, excess and rejected materials.
• Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
• Maintain proper binning, labelling, material identification and FIFO.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production and Quality teams for smooth material flow.
• Maintain store documentation and prepare periodic inventory reports.
• Ensure proper 5S, housekeeping and safety within the store.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of Stores / Inventory experience in a manufacturing company.
• Experience in Automobile / EV / Engineering Manufacturing will be preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP and inventory management is essential.
• Good knowledge of GRN, material issue, stock reconciliation, FIFO and physical inventory.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good documentation, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
