Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of EV/automobile components, raw materials, consumables and production-related materials.
• Manage sourcing and procurement from both Domestic and International Vendors.
• Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Handle RFQs, quotation comparison, commercial negotiation and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Communicate and coordinate with international suppliers regarding quotations, specifications, orders and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on pending orders to ensure timely material availability for production.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality and Accounts departments.
• Handle supplier quality/rejection issues and coordinate for replacement or corrective action.
• Maintain vendor databases, purchase records and procurement documentation.
• Support cost reduction, alternate sourcing and vendor development initiatives.
• Prepare purchase MIS and pending-material reports for management.

The position involves working with both domestic and international vendors, sourcing components and materials, commercial negotiation, purchase order management, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.

The ideal candidate should have manufacturing procurement experience, strong vendor-management skills, and excellent English communication skills for effective coordination with domestic and overseas suppliers.

Role & responsibilities

• Handle procurement of EV/automobile components, raw materials, consumables and production-related materials.
• Manage sourcing and procurement from both Domestic and International Vendors.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of Purchase / Procurement experience in a manufacturing company.
• Experience in Automobile, EV, Auto Components or Engineering Manufacturing preferred.
• Hands-on experience dealing with Domestic and International Vendors.
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal - are essential.
• Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing, RFQ, quotation comparison, negotiation and PO management.
• Good commercial and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong follow-up, documentation and vendor coordination skills.
• Experience in sourcing EV 2-Wheeler / 3-Wheeler components will be an added advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
