Job summary

Parveen Industries seeks a Store Executive for its Rabale Plant in Navi Mumbai. The role covers day-to-day store operations, inventory control, material receipts and issues, ERP transactions, and coordination with production, purchase, QA, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow and accurate stock.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years’ experience, and a background in mechanical engineering or SCM/Materials management, with proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical Engineering and/or MBA in SCM Operations required.
• Diploma in SCM Material Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Store Operations: Handle receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials including raw materials, bought-out items, consumables, and finished goods.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records, conduct stock verifications, monitor min/max and reorder levels, and investigate discrepancies.
• Material Receipt & Dispatch: Verify inward materials with PO/Challan/Invoices; coordinate with QA for inspection; ensure timely issuance to production; support dispatch.
• ERP & Documentation: Perform ERP transactions (GRN, issues, transfers); maintain GRN/challans/invoices/stock registers; prepare MIS reports.
• Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with Purchase, Production Planning, logistics for material flow; support audits.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, 5S practices, and proper storage methods.

Job Summary

The Store Executive shall be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, inventory control, material receipts and issues, documentation, ERP transactions, and coordination with production, purchase, quality, and logistics departments to ensure smooth material flow and inventory accuracy at the Rabale Plant.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

• Handle receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of raw materials, bought-out items, consumables, and finished goods.
• Ensure proper identification, segregation, and storage of materials as per defined locations.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
• Ensure housekeeping and adherence to 5S practices within the store area.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and annual physical stock verification.
• Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Material Receipt & Dispatch

• Verify inward materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Invoices.
• Coordinate with Quality Department for incoming material inspection and clearance.
• Ensure timely material issuance to production against approved requisitions.
• Support dispatch activities and ensure proper documentation.

ERP & Documentation

• Perform ERP transactions for GRN, material issue, transfer, return, and stock adjustments.
• Maintain records of GRNs, challans, invoices, stock registers, and other store documents.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to inventory and store operations.
• Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance requirements.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Purchase Department for pending materials and shortages.
• Work closely with Production Planning to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for inward and outward movement of materials.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and records.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Follow EHS guidelines and maintain safe material handling practices.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation methods to prevent material damage.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/Tally or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of stores documentation, GRN process, and material traceability.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and Lean practices will be preferred.
