Qualifications

• Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma improvement experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – WH Ops & Control Center to lead daily fulfillment center operations and direct overall control center monitoring in Bengaluru. You will manage end-to-end inbound, outbound, and inventory processes, drive efficiency and SLA compliance, optimize shift and manpower planning, and lead automation and process improvement initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Warehouse Operations: Oversee end-to-end inbound receiving, putaway, inventory storage, pick-pack-ship outbound operations, and overall facility throughput.
• Control Center & Metrics Management: Monitor real-time operational performance, driving key performance indicators (KPIs) around cost, productivity, fill rate, order cycle time, and SLA compliance.
• Manpower & Shift Planning: Formulate labor allocation strategies, plan multi-shift rosters, manage third-party staffing vendors, and optimize labor cost per unit.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Identify operational bottlenecks, implement Lean/Six Sigma principles, and lead warehouse management system (WMS) enhancements, automation, and robotics projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with logistics, supply planning, customer service, and technology teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and resolve operational exceptions.
• EHS & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to workplace safety regulations, inventory auditing standards, and facility management protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
• Experience: 5–8+ years of hands-on warehouse/fulfillment center management experience, including control center monitoring in e-commerce, quick-commerce, or 3PL organizations.
• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with Enterprise WMS, TMS, shift-scheduling software, and data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau).
• Continuous Improvement: Proven track record in Kaizen, 5S, Process Re-engineering, or Lean implementation.
• Leadership: Strong team management and vendor negotiation skills, with a focus on scaling operations in fast-paced environments.
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru, India.
