Job summary

Salad Days in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, ensure stock accuracy, and coordinate with operations and procurement teams. The role focuses on timely dispatches, FIFO/FEFO practices, and cost control.

The candidate should have 4–7 years in warehouse/store operations, a graduate degree, and strong skills in Excel and ERP systems, with leadership and problem-solving abilities for a fast-paced food distribution setting.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in warehouse/store operations.
• Experience in F&B, FMCG, Retail or Food Distribution preferred.
• Graduate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
• Good leadership and team-handling skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work as per operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including inward, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory and conduct regular stock reconciliation.
• Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices and minimize expiry/wastage.
• Manage warehouse manpower, attendance, shifts and productivity.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Central Kitchen and Stores teams.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Identify and control stock discrepancies, damages and losses.
• Maintain warehouse MIS, reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, safety and company SOPs.
• Coordinate with vendors and transport partners for timely material movement.
• Drive improvements in warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy and cost control.
