Job summary

Velocity Supply Chain in Pune invites an experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch. You will oversee inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, and ensure quality and safety standards for FMCG products.

Your role includes supervising warehouse staff, maintaining stock records, coordinating with transport and management teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and 5S housekeeping across the site.

Qualifications

• 24 years of experience in FMCG warehouse/store operations.
• Knowledge of FMCG products, inventory management, FIFO/FEFO, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse/store operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure inventory control, stock accuracy, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Handle FMCG products with proper quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily work as per requirements.
• Maintain stock records and prepare daily/weekly inventory reports.
• Coordinate with transport, operations, and management teams for smooth dispatch.
• Monitor loading/unloading activities and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory checks.
• Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards in the warehouse.
• Handle ERP/SAP and MS Excel for inventory and warehouse records.
