You will lead end-to-end warehouse activities, ensure accurate stock records, implement FIFO/FEFO, and coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics to optimize costs and service levels. Food and accommodation may be provided.

Qualifikationen

• 15-20 years of experience in FMCG warehouse management.
• Proven track record managing large-scale warehouses and high-volume inventory.
• Knowledge of ERP, WMS, inventory control, and stock reconciliation.
• Experience with ERP systems, MS Excel, and warehouse reporting tools.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Oversee receipt, inspection and proper storage of incoming goods with accuracy against POs and invoices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock reconciliations and physical stock audits.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, batch numbers, and product traceability, especially for FMCG items.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO to minimize ageing, expiry, damage and wastage.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment and dispatch to retail outlets and distributors.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, accounts, logistics, and retail teams for smooth supply chain activities.
• Optimize warehouse space, storage systems, handling, and manpower deployment.
• Document goods received/issued, stock transfers, returns, damaged goods, and dispatches.

Job Summary

Ajfan International is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 15-20 years of experience in FMCG warehouse management, with strong expertise in inventory control, warehouse planning, logistics coordination, team management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure regular stock reconciliation and physical stock audits.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, batch numbers, and product traceability, particularly for food and FMCG products.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize stock ageing, expiry, damage, and wastage.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment and dispatch to retail outlets, distributors, and other business locations.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, accounts, logistics, and retail operations teams for smooth supply chain activities.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization, storage systems, material handling, and manpower deployment.
• Ensure proper documentation of goods received, goods issued, stock transfers, returns, damaged goods, and dispatches.
• Monitor warehouse operating costs and implement measures to improve productivity and reduce operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, housekeeping, fire safety, and workplace safety standards, wherever applicable.
• Manage warehouse systems, ERP/WMS software, and reporting processes to maintain accurate and real-time stock visibility.

Required Qualifications:

• 15-20 years of overall experience, with substantial hands‑on experience in FMCG warehouse management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale warehouses, high-volume inventory, and distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control, stock reconciliation, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, WMS, MS Excel, and warehouse reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, and team‑management skills.
