Job summary

Qwickly Ventures in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Manager/Senior Manager Warehouse Operations to lead large-scale warehouse, DC/FC, or 3PL environments in FMCG.

You will drive end-to-end operations, inventory control, manpower planning, and warehouse automation, delivering cost-efficiency and service excellence. The role requires 10–15 years in warehouse ops with strong P&L and Lean / Kaizen experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation or postgraduation in SCM, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, 3PL or large-scale DC/FC operations.
• Experience managing large teams and driving KPI improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory control.
• Monitor productivity, throughput, KPIs and productivity per hour.
• Manage budgets, P&L and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Oversee warehouse automation systems and AS/RS where applicable.
• Ensure effective use of WMS and ERP integrations.
• Develop inventory control procedures and minimise discrepancies.
• Plan manpower deployment and supervise across shifts.
• Implement Lean, 5S, Kaizen and safety standards.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams; use data to improve service and cost.

Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager Warehouse Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager / Senior Manager to manage large-scale warehouse, distribution centre (DC), fulfilment centre (FC), or third-party logistics (3PL) operations, preferably in FMCG, dry grocery, or automated distribution environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory management, manpower planning, warehouse automation, operational P&L, and continuous process improvement.

Candidates with experience limited to dark stores, micro-fulfilment hubs, or small-format quick-commerce stores are not suitable for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, throughput, operational KPIs, and productivity per person per hour.
• Manage warehouse operational budgets, P&L, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Oversee warehouse automation systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), wherever applicable.
• Ensure effective utilisation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and integration with customer ERP systems.
• Develop inventory control procedures and minimise stock discrepancies.
• Plan manpower deployment and manage supervisors, operators, and support teams across shifts.
• Implement Lean, 5S, Kaizen, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, technology teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Use operational data and analytics to improve service levels, efficiency, and cost performance.
